California residents who are of legal voting age by the time of the next election can easily register to vote online. The online tool is available in English and Spanish while other language forms require the application to be completed by hand and returned either in person or by mail. Remember, you need to re-register to vote if you have moved to a new permanent resident, if you have changed you legal name or if you choose to change your political party choice.
