Iowa residents who are American Citizens and of legal voting age by the next election can register to vote. The only people unable to register are those convicted of a felony, those judged mentally incapable, or already have registered to vote in another location.

Check your voter registration status and verify the correct information. Voter registration must have accurate address information and your current name. Updating your registration information is done by resubmitting a registration form and returning it to your local county auditor.
